INEC Ad-hoc Staff Recruitment 2019 – INEC Set To Recruit One Million

It was on the senate committee when Prof Mahmud Yakub, the Chairman of INEC the Independent National Electoral Commission, told the members of the Nigeria Senate that the commission will be recruiting about one million ad hoc staff for 2019 general elections.

In is word during the report to the senate he said that during the past general elections 700 ad-hoc staff was recruited and now the commission is set to recruit a million ad hoc workers and they will to be deployed for the polls unit once their training is completed.

According to the national INEC chairman He said, The reason why the commission is increasing the recruitment for the general elections is because, the general election will need enough manpower to get the job done, INEC Ad-hoc Staff Recruitment 2019 is for creating a free and fair elections with the help of many staff they will be able to achieve there goal.

when having an interactive session with the senators Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC boss, disclosed to them that INEC was planning to provide five categories of disfranchised Nigerians participate during the 2019 general elections.

He said that there will be five categories, and they will amount to 16,000 INEC personnel, those that will make up the personnel who will serve as the election monitors such people will be the media, observers, security personnel and prison inmates.

When talking about the card reader he said that the commission is set to make the card reader working well in every where in during the period of the election.

He noted that the irregularities recorded in the last poll due to malfunctioning of the devices, would be prevented in the forthcoming elections as adequate training would be provided for those to who would handle the equipment.
